Final Adjournment Letter

Fellow legislators, citizens, and leaders of the State government;

I hereby announce that the Seventy-Sixth (76) legislative session for the San Andreas General Assembly will have a final adjournment and conclude on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. 

We will convene back in session for the Seventy-Seventh (77) legislative session with newly elected members of both chambers on Monday, January 19th, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. 

Citizens will have the power to petition or veto any or all legislation passed or introduced in the Seventy-Sixth (76) legislative session until Monday, March 23, 2026. All legislation that has not been petitioned shall officially go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Legislation that is petitioned shall be referred to the voters in the November 2026 general election with deadlines specified later in 2026 by the Secretary of State. 

This effective date shall not be construed to include or alter any separate implementation or administrative deadlines contained within individual acts.
